Katarzyna Tretyn

An interdisciplinary artist working at the intersection of Art & Science.
Her practice is a form of experiment – a translation of astronomy and cosmology into paintings, objects, and installations. Her primary media are thread and light, which she uses to construct structures reminiscent of scientific models and cosmic trajectories. Whether working in situ – as in the Martian landscape of the Yungay Valley – or in the studio, her process is deliberate, experimental, and cumulative. She treats art as a research process, one that opens new perspectives of seeing and thinking.
